Local couple take over the Bulls Head
Former pub managers, Ali and Alan Coughlin made the jump into self-employment by taking their first tenancy at the Bulls Head, Frodsham with Red Oak Taverns. Having 19 years of pub management expertise and experience they literally grabbed the opportunity by its horns and transformed the pub inside and out.
New business partners at the Castle
Business partners Charlie Lock and James Cowley took over the Castle pub in Halton, Runcorn in September 2020. Charlie with an events and festival management background and James, a classically trained chef were granted a partially tied agreement with Red Oak and reopened the pub that had been closed for the previous 6 months.
Red Oak Taverns to acquire 9 pubs from Hall & Woodhouse
Red Oak Taverns is to acquire nine Business Partnership (tenanted) pubs from Dorset family brewers, Hall & Woodhouse, making it Red Oak’s third pub package acquisition in 2021.
Two pubs for local entrepreneur
Local entrepreneur, Debbie Topping took over the Horse & Jockey the day before lockdown in March 2020.
