The Beckets Inn in Glastonbury has received two garden awards this year in recognition of their outside trading areas at the pub.  They were again awarded Glastonbury in Bloom 2023 and also received the RHS south west in Bloom Pub Garden Gold award following a submission by Glastonbury Town Council.

The pub which has been operated by Brigid Crome for 24 years, is famous for being a proper community hub hosting numerous community groups and raising thousands of pounds for local and national charities.

Speaking about the awards and running the pub, Brigid said, “The pub is central to so many people in the area and it’s fantastic that we have beautiful gardens to welcome both our regulars and visitors. We were thrilled to win the RHS national award following the nomination from our own Town Council.  It shows that our hard work in the garden is recognised”.

The pub recently had an external revamp by the pub owners Red Oak Taverns which included new lighting, signage and decoration.
